Mitsuo Hattori graduated and received Dr. Eng. degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology in Japan. He joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) in 1975. He has been engaged in research and development in measurement and mitigation techniques in EMC and lightning protection area.
Currently, he is an executive engineer in NTT Advanced Technology Corporation. He has been serving as Chairman of WP2 “Electromagnetic fields: emission, immunity and, human exposure” of ITU-T SG5 from 2001. He is Liaison Rapporteur to IEC ACEC (Advisory Committee on Electromagnetic Compatibility) from WP2.
