​​Introduction​
The International Telecommunication Union and ETSI ISG QKD jointly held an e-meetin​​g on “Quantum Information Technology​” on 10 June 2020 to explore and discuss potential areas of cooperation on the development of topics related to quantum information technology between ETSI ISG QKD and ITU-T FG-QIT4N with special focus on QKD topics.
​​
​The joint meeting was followed by the 4th meeting of the ​ITU-T Focus Group on Quantum Information Technology for Networks (FG-QIT4N)​​ held from 15-26 June 2020, also as an e-meeting.​​
​​
Participation in the joint meeting was free of charge and open to all ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wished to contribute to the work.This included individuals who were also members of international, regional and national organizations​​.​
