Martin Adolph
Study Group Advisor, ITU

Martin Adolph is a Study Group Advisor with ITU, the United Nations’ specialized agency for information and communications technologies. Martin's work facilitates the development of international s​tandards in the field of performance, quality of service (QoS) and quality of experience (QoE) for the full spectrum of terminals, networks, services and applications ranging from speech over fixed circuit-based networks to multimedia applications over networks that are mobile and packet based. Martin is also responsible for ITU's standardization work in the field of distributed ledger technology. Martin holds degrees in Computer Science from TU Dresden and in Engineering from École Centrale Paris.

Marcos Allende
Technical Leader and Coordinator, LACChain Global Alliance

Marcos Allende is the Technical Leader and Coordinator of the LACChain Global Alliance. He coordinates the development of the infrastructure and the technical support to blockchain projects. He plays this role from the IT Department of the Inter-American Development Bank, as an IT Specialist. Marcos has published several articles and papers on blockchain and quantum technology and their potential for social impact. As a physicist, prior to joining the IDB he worked for CERN in particle physics.




Abbie Barbir

Abbie Barbir serves as a Senior Security Advisor in the areas of identity management, mobile devices, and authentication at CVS Health Global Information Security. Barbir has extensive experience in identity and access management. He has worked with many standard organizations on developing next-generation authentication technologies. Currently, he represents CVS on the FIDO Board of Directors. Barbir holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering from Louisiana State University. In his more than 25 years in the software and security industry, he has been a Professor of Computer Science, an Application Developer, Data Compression and Encryption Inventor, Systems Architect, Security Architect, Engineering Manager, Consultant, Author and Inventor of numerous security algorithms and articles.​

Pedro Souza
CEO, Multiledgers

Investor and entrepreneur with almost 20 years of project release experience, 10 years acting as leader of the technological part in audio visual projects, 5 years as a consultant specialized for structuring of financial products working in partnership with managers as Capital Market and administrators with BBDTVM, dealing with Brazilian and international investors and almost 4 years of experience in projects related to Blockchain technology. He attended Business Administration with emphasis on Foreign Trade and post Production Executive for Cinema and TV at FGV and post in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence at UFRJ​.
​​Junzhi Yan
Co-rapporteur of ITU-T SG17 Q6 I Senior Researcher & Project Manager, China Mobile Research Institute

Dr Junzhi Yan is a senior researcher and project manager in China Mobile Research Institute. His research  interest includes 2/3/4/5G mobile network security, IoT security, DLT security and  services, challenges and countermeasures of quantum computing to mobile networks, and  also includes the innovative applications of PKI technology. He has been responsible for  many work items in ITU-T,GSMA and CCSA (China Communications Standards Association). Now he is the Co-rapporteur of ITU-T SG17 Q6 and the chief editor of X.ss-dlt, X.5Gsec-q, X.1046, X.rsu.
