Change Management DLT-based Decentralized Applications

Episode #7
of the DLT Meet-up series discussed how to manage the desired feature of DLT technical immutability versus real-life practical needs to update DLT-based decentralized applications. How DLT platforms are supporting that? Is it possible to design change management for a DLT-based decentralized application even if the underlying DLT platform does not support that? In what use cases is this feature more useful? What are some requirements to enable trust while keeping some flexibility for changes?

Participation in the meet-up was open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country that is a member of ITU who wishes to contribute to the work. This included individuals from the DLT technology and service providers, research institutions, United Nations agencies, regulators, other related professionals, and also members of international, regional and national organizations.
