Dirk Schlesinger joined TÜV Süd in May 2016 as its Chief Digital officer, reporting directly to the CEO. He is in charge of developing and operationalizing a comprehensive digital strategy and establishing a global Digital Service function.
Before TÜV Süd, Dr. Schlesinger spend 11 years at Cisco in various management capacities – from leading the global manufacturing team of the Internet Business Solutions group to serving as CEO of ‘mozaiq’, the joint venture of ABB, Bosch and Cisco in home automation. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group, where he spent 13 years working out of BCGs offices in Munich and Washington, DC.
An aerospace engineer by training, Schlesinger also holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a doctorate in mathematics from the Universität Mannheim.
