IT SOLUTIONS FOUNDATION

"Yaounde, Cameroon", 2016, April 27

The event was organized by IT SOLUTIONS FOUNDATION, a non-profit association having as one of its objectives, promoting ICT in the community.
The future of the ICT sector is exciting. These are unchartered waters open to creativity, innovation and entirely new ways of working, interacting and learning that should appeal to youths, young girls, women and men alike. The Institute for the Future identifies six drivers most likely to shape the future workforce: longer life spans; a rise in smart devices and systems; advances in computational systems such as sensors and processing power; new multimedia technology; the continuing evolution of social media; and a globally connected world. The ICT sector clearly underpins this future.
As an organization, we strive to contribute our own quota for the development of technology and vocational skills in Cameroon in particular and the world at large through;
- the promotion of the proper use of ICT in our society and communities,
- to encourage youths, young girls, women and men to take up careers in ICT,
- To support and encourage communities (especially rural communities) to invest in the domain of ICT for social and economic development of their society.
- Competence Skill development
All of the above mentioned can be achieved through:

  •  Holistic and innovative ICT training.
  •  Initiation and Support of ICT projects that would foster self-employment, career and economic development.
