​ITU Media Accreditation & Registration Procedure​


In order to submit a request, you will need to login using your ITU Ties Account (or create one):

  • I have an ITU Ties user account (please continue to step 1 below)
  • I am a new user

If you don't have an ITU Ties user account, click on ​​"I am a new user". Then, select "Media and Other Organizations" as your ITU status and click "Create". You will receive an email to activate your account and it is very important that you do so. Also, make sure you remember your email/username and password as you will need them to register​.


HOW TO REGISTER AND GET ACCREDITED FOR RA-19 & WRC-19 IN 3 STEPS:


1. Register for the events using your ITU Ties account

a) CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE REGISTRATION FORM

b) Complete the Organization Data form with your media outlet's information.

c) Complete the Contact form with your personal information. Please note that fields with a red asterisk are required.

d) Click "Continue", review your information to make sure everything is correct and click "Finish".

e) Confirm your personal information and complete the remaining fields. Please note that fields with a red asterisk are required.

f) Click the "Submit Registration" button. You will receive an email confirming your registration request.


2. Send us your media credentials

a) Based on the requirements set by ITU's MEDIA ACCREDITATION GUIDELINES, send your media credentials to pressreg@itu.int. Please note that ITU reserves the right to ask you for additional proof of being a bona fide member of the media.

b) Once your credentials have been reviewed and validated, your event registration and accreditation will be approved. You will receive an email confirming your ITU media accreditation status.

c) If ITU declines your request, you will also be notified. Please note that all decisions made by the ITU Strategic Communication Division are final.


3. Pick up your badge at the media registration booth at the ITU event.

a) Media badges must be collected at the event to access the premises. You will be required to present a copy of your confirmation email along with an official photo ID (license, passport, national ID, etc.) to collect your badge.

b) If the queue at the media registration booth is too long, please note that you may also pick up your badge at any registration booth if you have been registered, accredited, received a confirmation email ​and have a copy of it to show the registration attendant.
