The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized a
webinar on “Achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) through the ITU Smart Incubator" which took place from 13h00 to 14h30 CEST, on 8 October 2020.
This webinar explored how innovation could accelerate the achievement of the SDGs and highlighted the importance of international standards for digital transformation.
The webinar also presented the
ITU Smart Incubator programme. The ITU Smart Incubator programme aims to facilitate the linking of innovations to the standardization process in the definition, promotion and adoption of ITU standards and specifications. The programme is intended for start-ups or SMEs using frontier technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain and Internet of Things (IoT), to name a few.
Registration was mandatory to be able to access the remote participation tool. A free ITU account was needed to access the tool.
