The intelligence of CNC is important to enable the coordination of utilization, control and management of computing, storage, and networking resources for the purpose of provisioning and optimization based on the requirements and capability framework defined in [ITU-T Y.3400] and [ITU-T Y.IMT2020-CNC-FW]. It is not easy to build a network with the complete set of intelligent CNC capabilities covering resource layer, control layer, management and orchestration layer, operation and service layer. On the other hand, different network scenarios have different intelligent level requirements on CNC. So, there are definitely different levels of intelligence of CNC capabilities for different scenarios, and it is necessary to specify an intelligence level evaluation standard, to promote the integration of intelligent CNC capabilities step by step. Being consistent with [ITU-T Y.3173], mapping the intelligence level of CNC capabilities to each dimension is needed.
This Recommendation focuses on the introduction, evaluation dimensions, methods of Intelligence level evaluation and procedures for Intelligence level for CNC.
