Infocomm Media Executive Programme (IMEP): Sharing the Singapore Experience is being organized by the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore with the support from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in Singapore from 22-26 Aug 2016. IMEP.
The Programme is addressed to senior government officials
with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the Information, Communications and Technology (ICT),
Telecom and/or Media policy and regulation field. The Programme aims to provide deeper insights on
government policy-making and regulation in the converging ICT market scenario with case studies from Infocomm Media landscape in Singapore. The Programme is conducted by senior Singapore government policy and regulatory practitioners and industry experts who will share their experiences and conduct case study discussions together with participants.
Note:
- Language: IMEP will be conducted in
English only.
- Number of Partcipants:To allow for more effective discussions and interaction among participants, the class size is intentionally kept small and seats are limited.
- Course Fee Waiver and fellowships: IDA has kindly offered to waive the IMEP course fees to participants from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and eligible low income developing countries of the Asia-Pacific region who are recipients of ITU partial fellowships. The partial fellowships being offered by ITU cover daily subsistence allowance (DSA), subject to available resources. Please note that fellowships for eligible countries will be limited to around 10, with preference to LDCs.
