Session 6: Regional Initiatives ASP 2: Partner2Connect Matchmaking Roundtable

This session focuses on bridging both the digital divide and the gap in digital skills, especially in LDCs, LLDCs, and SIDs, aiming to harness ICT and emerging technologies for the benefit of the digital economy and society. Within this context, the session will provide an update on and an overview of the Whole-of-Government Approach through GovStack, viewing it as a foundational element for digital transformation. It will also discuss the interconnected roles of digital inclusion and skills development initiatives in facilitating long-term, sustainable digital transformation and the application of emerging ICTs. This session will feature perspectives from key stakeholders, including representatives from Ministries, developmental agencies, and academia, who are pivotal to these activities. Special emphasis will be placed on the GovStack, the Smart Village Smart Island initiative, and Digital Transformation Centres. Structured in a physical format, the session will spotlight a keynote presentation and foster dialogue among these key stakeholders, aiming for productive collaboration and insightful exchanges.​
