Startup Central Eurasia is a platform that brings together Startup and Innovation Ecosystem Developer Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations, Techparks, Accelerators, Incubators, Angel Networks, Venture Funds, Coworking Spaces, and Startups to combine a strength for innovation ecosystem development, mutual projects and collaboration, exchanging information, planning joint projects and initiatives, providing better access to the markets and opportunities.

The beginning of that cooperation was the signing the Tashkent Declaration in 2019 in Tashkent at the Workshop on Regional Cooperation of Startup Ecosystems as a Key Factor of Digital Economy Growth. It emphasized the need of the Central Asian countries to create and develop a support system for startups to enter the adjacent markets of the CIS and neighboring countries and the desire to facilitate the process by exchanging experience, providing relevant information about the work of the startup ecosystem, conducting trainings and meetings. Since then, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia have also joined the initiative.

Startup Central Eurasia platform annually hosts events and country trainings, technology parks, venture events, accelerators, business incubators and startups in the region, as well as bringing together interested organizations.

The Startup Central Eurasia team gathers startups from the region on a monthly basis and provides them with the opportunity to present their projects to the investor community. More information about the upcoming Startup Pitch Sessions you can found at the link.
