  2. Go to the ITU-D event registration page and click on the corresponding meeting registration link to log in.
  3. After the completing and successfully submitting the online registration request form you will receive an acknowledgement email.
  4. If needed, visa support must be requested during the online registration process. The processing of a request for visa support may take up to 21 days.
  5. Your registration request will automatically be forwarded to the corresponding Designated Focal Point (DFP) for ITU-D event registration for validation.
  6. Upon approval by the DFP, you will receive a confirmation of registration email. Participants will also be notified if their registration request is rejected by the DFP. Please note that the Bureau cannot process registration requests without prior approval by the DFP of the corresponding Administration/Entity.

DESIGNATED FOCAL POINTS (DFPs): HOW TO APPROVE REGISTRATION REQUESTS

All DFPs for ITU-D event registration should already have an ITU user account, which is required to review (approve or reject) registration requests.

DFPs will be asked to review each registration request submitted by a representative of their Administration/Entity. For this purpose, focal points will receive an email notification to approve/reject each registration request. Alternatively, DFPs can review the full list or registration requests, per event submitted by participants representing their Administration/Entity.

When a DFP registers for an event, approval and confirmation of registration are automatic.
