Third ITU Workshop on "Data Processing and Management for IoT and Smart Cities & Communities"

Introduction
The International Telecommunication Union, at the kind invitation of the National Radio Research Agency, Rep. of Korea (RRA) organized the Third ITU Workshop on Data   Processing and Management for IoT and Smart Cities & Communities, which took place at the TTA Grand Conference Room (9th floor) from 09h00 to 15h30 in Bundang, Seoul, Korea (Rep.of) on 14 January 2019. The workshop was followed by the sixth meeting of the ITU-T FG-DPM which took place at the same venue from 14-18 January 2019. The FG-DPM meeting opened at 16h00 on the first day. Objectives
The objectives of the workshop were to highlight the latest deliverables of the FG-DPM and provided an overview of activities of other stakeholders including SMEs on data processing and management to support IoT and Smart Cities & Communities. The workshop included a roundtable discussion on the engagement of different stakeholders in the activities of the FG-DPM.

Target Audience
Participation in the workshop was open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country which was a member of ITU who wished to contribute to the work. This included individuals who were also members of international, regional and national organizations. The workshop was free of charge.
