KENYOSHI Kaoru, NEC Corporation

 

Kaoru_Kenyoshi_photo.jpgMr Kenyoshi joined NEC in 1984 and for ten years was engaged in software development for switching systems. From 1995 to 2000 he worked as a manager in the Planning division for switching systems and was in charge of strategic planning for switching system services and products for the telecom carrier market. From 2000 to 2006, he worked as a general and chief manager in the Sales and Solution department for fixed and mobile networks. From 2011, he has moved to NEC Europe and is working for standardization.
Mr Kenyoshi has been an active participant at standards meetings ITU-T, for 20 years and since 2009 has been Vice-Chairman of ITU-T SG11. He is a mentor of ITU-T SG11 and he has taken the lead roles to contribute in the harmonization of various protocol standards based on the concept of consistent end-to-end interoperability. He has also been a board member of ETSI from 2011.
