Summary:
|
This draft Supplement discusses the importance of strong authentication in digital financial services (DFS) and provides examples of how it can be implemented. Traditional authentication methods, such as passwords, are no longer sufficient to protect users from fraud and other security threats. Strong authentication technologies, such as biometrics, two-factor authentication, and digital signatures, can help to protect users from fraud and other security threats. The report encourages DFS providers and regulators to adopt strong authentication technologies and implement them in a way that is user-friendly and effective.
