Amendment 3 to Recommendation ITU T K.70 (2007) was agreed on 07 February 2013 by ITU T Study Group 5 (2013-2016). This amendment consists of a new version (v.3.0.0) of the software EMF estimator, which constitutes the Appendix I of Recommendation ITU-T K.70 (2007). The main improvements introduced in v.3.0.0 are the following:
o it is allowed import of the antenna patterns directly from the websites of the Kathrein, Andrew and RFS
o after the calculation on the horizontal grid it is possible to add background in the form of the map loaded from the Google maps
o it was changed the term "cumulative exposure" to the term "total exposure" following the discussion and decision taken during the work on the Recommendation ITU T K.91.
