Innovation: ICT Incubation Opportunities and Challenges for Sustainable Development

Information, communication and technology plays a very important role in social, economic and political environment nowadays. Investing and supporting in ICT incubation and acceleration organizations is providing global information, communication and technology ecosystem with opportunity to develop ideas into competitive products and services. Minimizing barriers and maximizing accessibility to incubation/acceleration is creating sustainable development of national, continental and global ecosystem. This workshop will provide a platform for discussing challenges and opportunities for sustainable development of ICT incubation/acceleration centers in global ICT ecosystem. The following themes are going to be discussed during workshop:

  • What are the main opportunities and challenges incubation/acceleration stakeholders facing?
  • What role should government, academia, private sector, and international organization and the community play in support of Incubation/Accelerations?
  • What are best practices for Incubation/Acceleration?
  • How do you create competitive ICT Innovation ecosystems around Incubation/Acceleration?
