Techpreneurs tackling the SDGs
World Summit Award
Session 156
Purpose driven entrepreneurs using digital solutions to take action on the SDGs
Digital Innovations are one of the most promising tools to implement the UN agenda towards the SDGs.
At the same time corporate companies, governmentes and international organisations are interested in innovation and start-ups.
But who are the entrepreneurs that are driven by purpose and not only by profit, what financing models to they need to make their work sustainable? How can we learn from successful solutions from other countries and regions, rather than re-inventing the wheel in every country?
WSA provides a global platform for purpose driven entrepreneurs, international organisations, corporate partners, governments and academia in order to enable a knowledge transfer how digital solutions can support the achievements of the UN SDGs.
In this session, WSA will share some international best-practice solutions and how purpose driven entrepreneurs can be supported and empowered.
