Session 283

13:15–14:00, Thursday, 11 April 2019 Room H2, ITU Montbrillant Thematic Workshop

Women-led startups receive less then 2% of the global pool of venture capital yet are vital to the achievement of UN SDGs. This lively session will showcase a real live case study in progress of how startups and NGOs in the ICT can partner together with private sector companies to achieve great things as we set forward to achieve our global goal of 1 Billion Lives By 2025. We invite our partners from CrimeStoppers International and SWAT (Sports World Against Trafficking) League to articulate how we have begun a movement to reduce human trafficking, fight violent crime against women and vulnerable people and empower people to go anywhere better and safer. #1BLivesby2025 #SaferTogether
