This webinar is organized within the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe and CIS on a “Citizen-centric approach to building services for national administrations" and on “Fostering innovative solutions and partnership for the implementation of Internet of Things technologies and their interaction in telecommunication networks, including 4G, IMT-2020 and next-generation networks, in the interests of sustainable development", adopted by WTDC-17 and aiming at creating an experience- and knowledge-exchange platform between countries. ​
 
It provides an opportunity to present results of the new ITU-FAO study on the Status of Digital Agriculture in eighteen countries of Europe and Central Asia jointly conducted with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It will also provide an opportunity for some countries to highlight their national best practices and present the work jointly done with ITU and FAO. It will also aim at engaging new stakeholders from public and private sector in the activities on digital agriculture across the region.
