Dr. Al Kuwaiti has appointed into the Cabinet as the Head of the Cyber Security for the UAE Government since 2020. As the Head of the Cyber Security, his mandate includes being the Chairman of the UAE Cyber Security Council as well as Managing Director of the National Data Centre under the Supreme Council for National Security. As the Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government by investiture, Dr. Al Kuwaiti has legal authority over all aspects pertaining securing the cyberspace for the entire Nation.

Dr. Al Kuwaiti has published numerous papers and keynoted at many conferences such as IEEE, RSA, Cyber Warfare Europe, Tele Strategies, ISS World MEA, IDEX, International Anti-Cyber Crimes Conference, Future War Summit etc., He is a highly sought after speaker internationally and have provided the main keynote address for more than 50 international, regional, and national cybersecurity events such as GITEX, GISEC and the World Government Summit, and had presented the UAE Cyber Security Framework at INTERPOL Global Cyberspace and Cybercrime Complex located in Singapore. Dr. Al Kuwaiti holds a Doctorate in Computer Engineering and Network Security from George Washington University in the U.S. and a master’s degree in Telecommunications and Computer Networks. He also holds a M.A. degree in International and Civil Security. Dr. Al Kuwaiti is an honorable member of Society of Engineers, IEEE Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and Computer Society. His research interests are detecting, monitoring and responding to cyber warfare, Network Forensics, Corporate Governance & Process, and national cyber policy.

Mohammed Al Khamis is a Computer Engineer by training and is a Digital Government expert with over 16 year of in-depth experience in digital transformation and digital solutions and the ICT sector at large. He is the Director of Development Department at Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and was also appointed Program Director of the UAE Smart Governement National Plan. His key responsibilities include planning, developing and executing national scale programs that impact the advancement of UAE’s national digital sector. His strategic role involves leading the development and implementation of the information and egovernment strategy in alignment with the TDRA and the national objectives under Vision 2021 and the UAE Centennial 2071. He is also contributing to the TDRA’s vision, mission and overall strategy to ensure the delivery of its objectives and KPIs.

With a 15 years career in digital government, Hammad Al Hammadi is the Director of Digital Channels at Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA). He supports the build and delivery of the unified Abu Dhabi Government Services Unified App and Portal which serve millions of customers and offer more than 700 integrated digital government services from over 30 government entities. Hammad has a MSc in Management of Information System and Digital Innovation from the London School of Economics & Political Science.

Abdelaziz Alzarooni is a passionate person who is an advocate to utilizing technology to enhance our life. He leads national initiatives for awareness and capability building in digital transformation and cybersecurity within the UAE to enhance digital wellbeing. Also, he represents UAE in several international organizations related to Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Child Online Protection. Committed to empowering people through science and technology, he worked on many successful projects and created a portfolio of awareness videos and podcasts.
