Ernst&Young

Session 248

Wednesday, 29 May 2024 14:00–14:45 (UTC+02:00) Physical (on-site) and Virtual (remote) participation Room EF, CICG, 3rd Floor ICTs and Emerging Technologies Interactive Session

Building on previous panels in 2022 and 2023 that discussed AI risk management and responsible AI governance, this workshop panel will explore practical approaches to building a better working digital world through testing tools, design standards and independent assessment benchmarks. In conversation with leaders in this field we will dive into the challenges around the development and adoption of tools such as the IEEE AI Ethics standards and CertifAIed initiatives, the Responsible AI Institute’s AI assessment and certification benchmark and the 5Rights Foundation’s IEEE 2089-2021 Standard for Age Appropriate Digital Service Framework. Finally we will assess the role that these initiatives play in a world where digital services cross jurisdictional boundaries.
