ICT plays a significant role as strategic enabler for development in the digital era – connecting us, transforming value chains in every sector, and many aspects of life. Breaking with the siloed approach to development, the ICT Applications programme is involved in a number of sector cross cutting initiatives to leverage multi-stakeholder collaboration and the power of ICT4SDG in various ways. The aim is to facilitate the development and adoption of innovative solutions that will bring impact to people and accelerate the achievement of the sustainable development goals.
