Smart Water Management (SWM) promotes the sustainable consumption of water resources
through coordinated water management, by the integration of ICTs products, solution and systems,
to maximize the socioeconomic welfare of a society without compromising the environment. As it
was indicated before, SMW has applicability in many different sectors (for example industries,
agriculture etc.).
