In closing, I am very pleased to have this opportunity to verify the city’s capacity in establishing a
world-class smart city by participating in the Smart Sustainable Cities KPI Project of the U4SSC. I
hope that Daegu’s case study and the knowledge provided in this Case Study will be of help for
many other cities aiming to formulate their own smart city strategies.
