This event will explore the role of multi-stakeholder collaboration in tackling the challenges of AI, and will bring together governments, investors, civil society organisations, think tanks, business groups and other stakeholders in the digital sector to discuss how they can leverage common interests in driving corporate accountability towards ethical AI for an inclusive digital economy.

Mr. Nicholas Sewe
Mr. Nicholas Sewe Engagement Lead World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) Moderator

Nicholas is the Engagement Lead for the Digital Inclusion Benchmark at the World Benchmarking Alliance. He leads multi-stakeholder engagements, partnership building and organising global events. 
He is passionate about digital technologies, innovations and their contribution to a sustainable digital future. He previously worked with international development organisations focusing on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by adopting technologies, such as the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF), Mercy Corps AgriFin and SNV Netherlands Development Organisation (Kenya). 
Nicholas holds an MSc in Media and Communications from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.Tech degree in Journalism from The Technical University of Kenya. He is also an alumnus of LSE’s Programme for African Leadership (PfAL) programme. 


Dr. Boni Pudjianto
Dr. Boni Pudjianto Director of Digital Economy Ministry of ICT, Indonesia

Dr Boni Pudjianto currently serves as the Director of Digital Economy at the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (MCI) of the Republic of Indonesia. Previously, he held the position of Director of Informatics Empowerment at the same ministry. From 2020 to 2021, Dr Pudjianto was the Head of the Centre for Data and Information at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Prior to this, he was the Director of Foreign Market Development at the National Creative Economy Agency from 2015 to 2020. Dr Pudjianto earned his PhD in Information and Telecommunication Technology from the School of Innovation, KAIST, South Korea, and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology. 


Ms. Shabnam Mojtahedi
Ms. Shabnam Mojtahedi Legal Advisor ICNL (International Center for Not-for-Profit Law)

Shabnam Mojtahedi is ICNL’s Legal Advisor for Digital Rights, providing technical assistance on how technology impacts civic space, freedom of expression, and privacy online. She works with local, regional, and international coalitions to promote an enabling environment for civil society in the digital realm through legal analysis, trainings, and other capacity building initiatives that seek to improve civil society’s understanding of international legal standards as well as legal and non-legal strategies for addressing existing and emerging digital challenges. Prior to joining ICNL, Shabnam worked with Benetech’s Human Rights Program, leading efforts to apply artificial intelligence to human rights and war crimes investigations. For over four years she was the Legal and Strategy Analyst with the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre (SJAC) where she developed and oversaw methodologies for SJAC’s documentation collection, data analysis, and human rights reporting. She holds a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law. 


Mr. Benjamin Chekroun
Mr. Benjamin Chekroun Lead Stewardship Analyst Candriam

Benjamin Chekroun, is a engagement specialist in Candriam’s ESG team. He is responsible for Candriam’s engagements on social, labour and human rights issues with a special focus on the impacts of technology on human rights. Benjamin joined Candriam in 2018 as Deputy Head of Convertible Bonds, assuming his current position in Stewardship in 2020. Previously, he worked at ABN AMRO Investment Solutions since March 2014, where he was in charge of the global convertible bond strategy. He has spent four years in Hong Kong, one year in New York and thirteen years in London, working as a convertible bond trader. In 2004, the fund managed by M. Chekroun was awarded Best Convertible Arbitrage Fund by Hedge Fund Review. Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in international business. 


Ms. Caitlin Kraft-Buchman
Ms. Caitlin Kraft-Buchman CEO/Founder Women at the Table

Caitlin founded Women at the Table (w@tt), a global gender equality & democracy Civil Society Organization based in Geneva, Switzerland in 2015.  w@tt focuses on advancing feminist systems change by using the prism of technology, innovation & AI to leverage points in the economy, sustainability, democratic governance and technology.  In 2019, she co-founded < A+ > Alliance, a global coalition championing Inclusive AI & Affirmative Action for Algorithms to build gender and racial equality in a world where machine learning does not wire already biased systems into our future. 
The <A+> Alliance was a selection of the 2021 Paris Peace Forum, and is leadership of UN Women’s Generation Equality Forum Action Coalition for Technology & Innovation for Gender Equality.  Caitlin will Co-Chair the Expert Group in preparation for the 2023 UN Commission on the Status of Women whose priority theme is technology & innovation. In 2015 she co-founded the International Gender Champions, a leadership network of decision-makers breaking down gender barriers for system change with hubs in Geneva, New York, Vienna, Nairobi, Paris & The Hague 


Mr. Michel de Souza
Mr. Michel de Souza Public Policy Director Derechos Digitales

Michel Roberto de Souza is the Public policy director at Derechos Digitales. He holds a PH. D. and master's degree in Law from the University of São Paulo (Brazil), master's degree in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance from the University of Turin (Italy) and a degree in law from the State University of Maringá (Brazil). He designs and coordinates lines of public policy analysis and conducts advocacy work on public policies at the local, regional and global level.
