Regional Development Forums (RDFs) provide an opportunity for high-level dialogue between the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT), governments and regulators from ITU Member States and Sector Members.
The 2017 ITU Regional Development Forum for Arab States was held in Khartoum, Sudan on 29 January 2017. It was followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting on 30 January -1 February 2017.
The ITU Regional Development Forum for Arab States was held in Rabat, Morocco, from 28 to 29 March 2016.
The 2016 ITU Regional Development Forum for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic on 8 November 2016. It was followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting on 9-11 November 2016.
The ITU Regional Development Forum for Europe was held on 26 April 2017 in Vilnius Lithuania. It will be followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting on 27-28 April 2017.

The 2017 ITU Regional Development Forum for the Americas Regional was held on 21 February, 2017 in Asunción, Paraguay. It was followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting on 22-24 February 2017.

The ITU Regional Development Forum for Asia-Pacific Region was held on 20 March 2017 in Bali, Indonesia. It was followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting on 21-23 March 2017.
Dates for the 2016 ITU Regional Development Forum for Asia and the Pacific region was held in Manila, Philippines from 6-7 June 2016.
The 2016 ITU Regional Development Forum for Africa was held on 5 December 2016. It was followed by the Regional Preparatory Meeting on 6-8 December 2016.
